GTA delegation to meet Union Home & Finance ministers

Darjeeling, January 6 The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GTA) delegation will leave Darjeeling on January 8, to meet the Union Home and Finance minister at Delhi concerning some issues and demands of the GTA. The GJM spokesperson Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri today informed that the powers of the few departments under the GTA are being given to the state by the centre which is totally unfair. The GTA agreement clearly mentions that the powers of the departments shall remain on the hands of the GTA. The other issue is that of the release of the Rs 200 crs fund by the centre which is pending till date said Dr Chettri. The GJM central committee meeting will be held on Monday to discuss in length and breadth on the same added Dr Chettri.
