mukesh sahrma Kalimpong, July 24:
The CPIM leader Tara Sundas today approached the President of the Vigilance & Monitoring Department also the Sub Divisional Officer with 4 bags of flour sample. Sundas has yet again alleged that the flour which is disbursed with the ration is of low quality. “Is this flour being distributed for the people or for the animals?” questioned the fumed CPIM leader who frequently complains about low quality food being disbursed.
The rights of the poor people are being suppressed by distribution low quality flour. The flour instead of free flowing has become chunks, he added. During the monsoons the sacks of flour get wet further making it into chunks. Further, he said that until and unless the political parties and other organizations do not voice for the rights of the poor public, till then they will be suppressed.
