Darjeeling Hill TMC to met Minister Gautama Deb on July 27

Darjeeling July 24: A meeting of the Darjeeling Hills Trinamool Congress (TMC) with the TMC Darjeeling District Committee President also the North Bengal Development Minister Gautam Deb is scheduled to be held on July 27 at Siliguri. Giving the information, the TMC Darjeeling District Committee member Rajen Mukhia today said that they would mainly discussed on the withdrawal of the 17 TMC candidates of the Hills from the Gorkha Territorial Administration election called by the TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee. After the announcement of the same, the TMC candidates in the Hills have stopped their election canvassing. “TMC Chief has sent us some information which will be known on the July 27 meeting” said Mukhia. Soon after the announcement of withdrawal of the TMC from the GTA election, numbness among the TMC Hills cadre was witnessed.
