Morcha condemns the charges

KNE;Kalimpong, March 06: On the other hand the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM), kalimpong has condemned the incident. The GJM Sub Divisional Secretary, Kumar Chamling speaking to the reports said clarified that during the time of the incident, the GJM Sub Divisional Committee and its various frontal organizations were busy preparing about their future programmes at the party office. “None of our party members or workers are involved. All the allegations leveled against us are false”, he advocated. However, on the other hand, the Police after around 3 hours past the incident, have arrested 4 Morcha cadres namely, Bijay Chettri, Anil Chettri, Dilip Paswan and Manoj Singh. The North Bengal Development Minister, Gautam Deb condemning the incident has demanded early arrest of the accused. Deb advocated that TMC wants peace and development in the hills. More Police forces have been deployed in Kalimpong soon after the incident occurred.
