Four member GTA delegations to leave Delhi today

Darjeeling January 7: Four member delegation of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) comprising of GTA executive chief Bimal Gurung, sabhasads Roshan Giri, Jyoti Kumar Rai and Binay Tamang will be leaving for Delhi on Tuesday. Giving the information sabhasad Binay Tamang said that GTA delegation will be meeting the Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and Finance minister P Chidambaram to discuss on the important provisions of the GTA.

 He also informed that there are chances of meeting with the President of India Pranab Mukherjee. Source informed that the meeting is for the discussion of the full fledged powers to the GTA concerning some of the departments whose power seems under the state government. The delegation might also talk about the pending 200 crs funds by the centre to the GTA.

 Two different and important resolutions were also passed in a GTA meeting that was held at Darjeeling today morning. The first one was to make GTA financially strong and the second was employment to the unemployed. Both the resolution will be submitted to the centre and the state government said sabhasad Tamang.
