councelling seesion at BMC HALL
Ummid, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) of Kolkata today conducted a counselling session for all the school teachers of the hills organized by the Rockvale School. The Founder of Ummid, Saloni Priya delivered the counselling session.
Priya spoke on the mental condition of the children who enter their adolescence. Taking the instances about the suicide cases in the hills regarding the school students during the past 6 months, Priya asserted that appropriate counselling right from the home during their adolescence will help prevent such steps and will also help them choose a better way of life.
She further stated that a teacher plays an important role in the society. Inside the house the guardian looks after the children and outside the teachers do the needful. Hence, the teachers should foremostly be good counsellors.
