TMC’s Chewang Bhutia alleges Dr Chettri of being above the law

{KNE}; Kalimpong, November 03: The Trinamool Congress (TMC), Kalimpong Block President, Chewang Bhutia today alleged the Kalimpong MLA, Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri of being above the law. Chettri, had recently said that all the cases against them during the time of agitation will be settled within a week. Thus, the TMC leader highlighting about the same, appealed the public not to believe in his words. Further, saying that for every small or big crime, there are punishments, Bhutia questioned that is why in GJM’s case the administration is staying put.

 Why do not they arrest all those against whom warrants has been issued. Likewise, he said that GTA is Dr Chettri’s brainchild. Likewise, Bhutia also mentioned that the GJM is doing hitches worth crores through the ongoing tourism fest. Saying that now, its time for the people to think. He added that people did not vote GJM for the fest, instead they voted for betterment and overall development. He also alleged that the GTA is being run by the DM and demanded for a CBI inquiry. Lastly, he said that the TMC government is running a corruption free government in the state.
