4 scout and guide teachers of Kalimpong receive Medal of merit

Four scout and guide teachers of Kalimpong are receiving Governor's Medal of merit on 6th July 2012 at Kolkata. The four are Surendra Kumai of Jaldhaka HS School, Mahendra Chhetri Of Teesta Bridge HS School, Sr. Erica Lepcha of St. Joseph's Convent and Buluchand Thakur of SUMI. They along with other awardee are receiving the award from the Governor of West Bengal.  

In 1996 Kumai (47 yrs) was appointed Scout Master of Jaldhaka H.S. School Unit under Kalimpong District Scouts and Guides Association. Kumai had completed basic course of Scout Master in 1994 and advance course in 2011. He is a physical education teacher of Jaldhaka HSS since 1992. After graduation Kumai has completed a degree on Physical Education and he is also a member of M.H.M.(Homoeo) and has done diploma in Accupressure and Post graduate diploma in Journalism.
