Hearing date for the Teen Kataray case shifted for 24th May

MUKESH SHARMA KALIMPONG, May 10: Yet another episode of the hearing session of the infamous Teen Kataray case was held today at Kalimpong Court. Similar to the earlier sessions, the date has been postponed for May 24, 2012 for the next hearing session of the case due to the absence of the accused namely Advocate Amar Lama and Ganesh Tamang. Both of them had forwarded an application stating about their absence. But the Court today has issued a warrant against Kaziman Biswakarma who till date have not attended the hearing sessions. A similar warrant was also issued in the earlier month by the Court against one of the accused Akash Gurung. It may be noted that only 1 of the accused out of 19 is behind bars since the incident which took place in November 11, 2000. 4 of the accused are still absconding and the rest are bailed out.
