Teen Katarey case hearing postponed for Oct 19

KNE;Kalimpong, October 10: Yet again the Teen Katarey case could not proceed further due to the absence of one of the accused at the Session Court today. Hence, the next hearing is scheduled for October 19. However, Santosh Subba, Sabin Sharam, Ganit Subba and other were present today. It may again be noted that the said case which has come under the limelight after 12 years, has many veteran politicians involved such as Chattrey Subba, Amar Lama, Norden Lepcha, PT Sherpa, etc. The case is all about imbibing arms and ammunition training for the separate state agitation. It also registers a case against the accused for clash between the Police and the accused and death of a Hawaldar. Teen Katarey situated at Samsing Tea Estate comes under 44 no constituency at present.
